Exploding out of the San Francisco Bay Area comes Ignus Verma, a four-piece rock outfit formed in early summer of 2008. Immediately the band began writing new and original music. The band played their first show in October 2008 at the Pacheco Octoberfest. After a month of down time in November due to Eric getting his tonsils removed, the band began practicing harder than ever to prepare for the Gorilla Productions Battle of the Bands at the DNA Lounge. Only being their 3rd show ever played, the band advanced to the finals round, beating out ten other local bands. Currently the band is working on recording a 6 song EP and continuing to push the limits of their own musical creativity. They are also playing as many shows as possible to establish a larger fan base. The band played in front of 4000+ at the 10th annual Oyster Festival on May 16th 2009. Ignus Verma played with 9 bands at Battle of the Bands Finals June 12th 2009 but did not win the crowd over enough to advance to regional finals. The band continues there pursuit today rocking as many shows as possible looking to make new friends and fans just like you.
