Crystal Trio, also known as “Igor Sklyarov project”, is a unique musical band from Siberia, Russian Federation. Igor Sklyarov, Vladimir Perminov and Vladimir Popras play the unusual instruments made of glass. These are Verrophone, Glass Harp and Glass Pan Flute.
Crystal Trio performs in a variety of musical genres — from classics to popular modern melodies. The trio toured actively during several years. Musicians presented their art in Europe, Japan and Russia. They were involved in performances of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow (staging of M. Glinka's opera “Ruslan and Lyudmila”). Crystal Trio is a regular participant of the annual Carnival in Venice. In 2006 Igor Sklyarov performed the music by David Gilmour, the leader of Pink Floyd. The show took place in Venice, in the Piazza San Marco. Igor's glasses sounded together with the famous song “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”.
This music has given pleasure to lots of people, and we are sure that you will enjoy it too.
