I am part of a hip hop group called the "Tree Dwellers" and we consist of myself, Haifalutin and Shapeshifter. You can find us in either in Sodo, Seattle down by the train tracks and graffiti tagged warehouses or in the U-District roaming the college wasteland. With solo albums in the works by all three of us, and a group project always looming over our heads you can expect more music coming your way in the coming year.

Empty bag laying on the eighty eight keys, half filled glass of grape juice sitting in front of them. One take. Seven thirty in the morning, every weekday. Chorus fits in perfectly. Could take a ride on the seven but instead keeps dreaming. Maybe lay the overdubs, maybe not... Depends on the clock. Haifalutin is passed out on the couch in the blue room. "Wake me up." On second thought, lay those overdubs. So back in the studio. I used to mop floors but here I am pressing record. This is fun again. Song is pretty much finished now. "Wake me up." Oh right, I remember that now. Down the grape juice. Haifalutin knows where the keys are. Jump into the passenger seat of the frost covered car and I manage to punch in at 8:55. Five minutes early... Something is definitely different now.
I think I might be nuts but at least I got a smile.
