New CD Info I finished all the songs on Freyr's Ætt, so I made sort of a Digital Release thing. It's up right now, you can click on the header, or the links in the Discography section. Hey, who cares about cd's these days? The new torrent has all the artwork and files and everything else you can possibly imagine. So come on kids! Download the new Cholernik album today, it will secure your spot in Valhalla.
Update: I do now have hard copies of the CD upon request. These take me time to make, so I probably won't be passing these out to everybody, unless you want one.
Now a little about myself... I was Born and raised in north woods of Wausau. Now I'm living in Milwaukee, and am trying to get something going here (see links below), because the national american metal scene needs a ton of help. Anyways, I've been playing and writing music for just about 10 years. And all that time I've basically been playing with myself... like masturbating, but with guitars.
Now a little about Cholernik... If you haven't figured it out already, Cholernik is what I call my music. The first name I used was Jesus AntiChrist, but I figured I'd change it to something a little less obviously offensive... you know for the grandmas and the tweens ;). I started out by just recording things into my laptop so I would not forget the parts later on. Then eventually I got a really REALLY crappy drum machine (hammerhead, its free, go laugh at it). With that drum machine and some software, I recorded many many songs, eventually filling up a CD and released MAMDM in 2007.
About a year later, and a much improved drum machine, I released Seven hundred Ninety-three. On this album I panned all the guitar tracks left and right, and got really experimental, (or of course as I called it: experimetal). While I was happy with this album, I felt I could do a lot better.
I spent the next few months constantly writing recording, and finally in September releasing Freyr's Ætt. Since I released MAMDM my influences has grown and some of the things I was experimenting on the guitar with were making more and more sense. I am safe to say, it is my best work ever. The CD contains multiple symphonic parts, so many guitar tracks, and even bass! Now, this is still the good ol' drum machine and recording directly into a laptop, so it still has that true Cholernik sound.
Now a little about my bands... Arson. Trve Black Metal. I play guitar, and do vocals. Never Ending Circle. Death Metal. I play bass.

Yeah...now I am going to have to eat there. It does resemble an infant. I enjoy that the only two posts in the last one million years on my myspace page are of russian high school kids performing an acoustic black metal show and giant burritos.
