About me:

Self employed freelance dogs-body with an addiction to the purchase of nice guitars (GAS, Guitar Aquisition Syndrome). I have been playing guitar since 2000 and have achieved the standard of mediocre, I Play Bodhran with Ta Be Sure an Irish/Folk Band, solo guitar vocalist at folk clubs and guitar vocals with the Gatlin Boys a sometimes duo/trio at the folk club. I like to think I am a comedian, people often laugh when I am on stage but not necessarily when I am trying to be funny. I am one of the resident MC's at the Ilkeston folk Club along with Greg the fat fool of Fire and Brimstone fame, Fire and Brimstone are a duo at the folk club who like to think they are as good as the Gatlin Boys hence my URL, in reality we are all just one big happy family and have been known to play together as super group Johnny's Lad. I'm the web master for the folkclub website www.ilkestonfolkclub.org.uk

Who I'd like to meet:

The B'tard who stole my trailor

Hello Keith - not sure if you're interested but somehow I’ve managed to get myself an interview on a radio station in Glasgow next Sunday 6th July?

I’m going to be on the Ciaran Dorris Sunday Session which is on Celtic Music Radio 5pm – 7pm Sunday Evening – it is only available on the internet – follow this link if you want to listen: -

    http://www. celticmusicradio. net/

I can promise you will hear the sound of fear – it would be good to have your support – better still if you could send an email while I’m on air that would be appreciated – some kind of friendly abuse is always nice!

Here the direct email address – this will come through to Ciaran when he’s on air

    studio@celticmusicradio.net

    be good
