Biography
I Have Seen Fire is a five-piece band from Detroit, Michigan. Consisting of Kevin Rapley (Guitar, Vocals), Curtis Gaydos (Vocals), David Zybach (Guitar), Logan Marshall (Bass), and Kyle Rapley (Drums) IHSF blends massive breakdowns with strong lead riffs and harmonic vocals creating a modern rock sound that has been compared to a combination of bands such as Alexisonfire, The Devil Wears Prada, and For The Fallen Dreams.
I Have Seen Fire is one of the fastest rising bands in the Michigan area by gaining fans online at www.myspace.com/ihaveseenfire and also by playing shows at such venues as The Shelter, The Pike Room, Clutch Cargos, and The Modern Exchange. Their live show is one of the best around with crowd chants, dance pits, and ear splitting sounds. IHSF has also recently recorded their highly anticipated self titled debut ep at Chin Music Studios in Cleveland, Ohio. Other notables who recorded at the same studio were Beneath the Sky, Driver Side Impact, and Emarosa. Working with producers Don Debiase and Johnny Burke, IHSF has reached a new level of music with their debut ep by blending their unique sound with good old fashioned and also modern metal.
Having shared the stage with nationally recognized artists such as Four Letter Lie, I Am Abomination, The Crimson Armada, Dr. Acula, For Today, King, Settle The Sky, and I see stars, it is very easy to see the broad range of fans they are able to reach out to all across the country.
The rise of this band has been unforeseen but once you see I Have Seen Fire live in concert, you might think they are the next big band to hit not only Michigan but the entire country.
