We have a wide range of influences and each of us have our own individual artists who give us inspriation!
Sounds Like
We do a lot of different types of music... Led Zeplin and Lenny Kravitz but also some Eva Cassidy, Oasis, The Doobie Brothers, Stevie Wonder and KT Tunstall. We do some funk and rock as well as blues!
But we have decided that we play "Phrok" - Very long story.
The Outshined have been around for a while, but things have change a lot since the band originally started.
Aran and Chloe were in a band together a couple of years ago, with other people, who came and went. Then one day Aran and Chloe were left..So they decided to hunt for some members! They then found Ashleigh, who is now the bands lead singer, she loves this job. Recently Paul joined the band as Bass player.
The band love being together. And enjoy nights at Arans house, learning songs, writing songs, and eating Sue's really tasty food!
we have a number of gigs in the summer so are busy practising and writing!

Hi, the first year Music BTECH students of New College Durham are putting on a show called 'Sounds of the City', featuring awsome music from Manchester, Liverpool and London. Its at the college drama studio on he 11th, 12th and 13th of December - thats next week. 7pm till 9pm. Just pick a night and let me know if ud like a ticket. Tickets are £4.
