My name is Ijeoma (pronounced ee-JOH-mah) and I am a singer and actress living in Los Angeles, California. I have had the good fortune of singing with almost all of the people I admire most in the music industry since making the decision to become a singer, which is always a thrill for me, because it wasn't until after graduating from West Virginia University, earning a B.A. in Psychology and working for a while as a Youth Crisis Counselor, that I decided to become a singer.

From 2003 to 2006 I was a backup singer for Enrique Iglesias, touring all over the world with him. He's a great person to work with and the band is a lot of fun. I have sung with many great Latin artists including Paulina Rubio, Charly Garcia and Alejandro Lerner to name a few. I have also had special guest appearance singing with bands like Ambrosia, Men At Work and the Brothers Johnson. I have shared the stage with legends like Stevie Wonder and been on the same bill with artists like Sting, Whitney Houston, and Christina Aguilera.

Locally I sing with some of the very best bands in Los Angeles.  Not only do I feel they are the best in Los Angeles, I think they're among the best in the world.  Cecilia No..l and the Wild Clams is SLAMMING.  Cecilia is one of the best songwriters and performers in this industry and it is a great honor for me to be in the band.  For me it is musical boot camp! 

Another band I perform with is Rocky Dawuni and the Revelation Project.  Rocky is another musician who inspires me to always write and to put everything I have into my performances.  Rocky performs as if everthing in life boils down to that one moment when he is onstage relaying his message to everyone in the audience who can feel him.  (And trust me, if you are in his audience, you will feel him).

I am not only a singer, but also a songwriter. One of my songs was used on FOX TV's "Johnny Zero" in 2005 and I have collaborated with many great songwriters from the U.S.A., South America, Central America, Australia and Europe. If I'm not onstage, you can often find me in my home studio writing and recording. On my free nights I love to hit the karaoke bars!!! (Always singing!)

Along with singing, I am also an actresss. I've had the good fortune of acting on some of my favorite shows including CSI:NY, Weeds & ER. I've also done some theater. Most recently I play one of the principle actors in the Rock Opera "Bandage the Rock Opera". I have also played Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, among other roles.

My other love is travel. I have been to every continent on the planet with the exception of Antarctica! I'm not sure how many countries I've been to, but it's a lot and there are still many more countries I want to go to. I also love learning languages. I speak Italian very well and I can "get by" in Spanish and French. I've studied German, but that didn't go so well. Lately I've been trying to pick up on a little Portuguese. My father's first language is Igbo (from Nigeria), but unfortunately I only know a few phrases in Igbo.
