About me:
The Ijo Ija Academy of Martial Arts is an institute in Los Angeles, dedicated to preserving the Martial traditions and cultures of the world, with focus on Asia, Africa and South America. The head instructor and founder of the Ijo Ija Academy of Martial Arts, Sifu Earl White, has provided a space for all to come and learn the discipline of the Martial Arts in a fun, safe and uplifting enviornment. The emphasis of training at the Academy is it's practicality and resourcefulness in self defense, while still maintaining it's strength in tradition. Students learn a wide array of techniques through drilling, sparring, set forms and sometimes through cultural dance. Please come by and see if the Ijo Ija Academy of Martial Arts has something for you. We offer classes in Kung Fu, Capoeira, the Martial Arts of the Philippines, and West African Dance. We are centrally located at:
1146 N. Vermont, Los Angeles, CA 90029
Our hours are:
Monday through Thursday, 4pm-8pm
Friday, 4pm-6pm
Saturday, 10am-12pm
