For a few months in the middle of 2006, bass
player Ike Leo recruited a different drummer and keyboard player every week
at his Sunday evening residency in Central London.
The breif was to play Jazz or Jazz influenced music without any limitations
and to have some fun. Also special guests were invited or some just turned
up unexpected on the night to jam.
Most of the times the musicians in the trios met each other for the first
time on the gig or had not played together before.
The gigs were then videod and the best bits were chosen to be viewed on the
website www.pretap.com with a little information on the musicians and the
gigs.
There was no rehearsal or preparation as Ike had the habit of booking his
musicians last minute. However some magic moments were recorded on video and
