Been a Drummer for these past 25 years. Currently playing with X-Vandals & Lord Adder. Music is my life. Playing in different bands with different types of music is a big challenge.
X-Vandals music genre is 80's old school thrash metal/hardcore.
Lord Adder music genre is pure rock.
Seems preety strange to play all these different types of music, but surely its a challenge and I believe that with a lot of dedication, support from family and friends and with music running in my veins all obstacles are overcome and music gives a lot of satisfaction.
Since I was younger at age I was a lot influenced by big drummers such as Peter Criss (KISS), Jon Bonham (LED ZEPPELIN), Eric Carr (KISS), Eric Singer (KISS), Nick Mason (Pink Floyd), Bobby Rondinelli (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Doro and many more bands he played with). The latter I had the honour to support during the Black Sabbath Concert in Malta way back in 1995, while at that time I formed part of Lord Adder and subsequently had also supported Girlschool, Iron Maiden, Smokie and Saxon.
Every rehersal is a means of learning new things about drumming and hopefully I will pass this on to my daughter Karen, who started playing drums at the age of 5, and she's a great fan of all my bands!!

Currently busy working on the project with the aim to raise animal awareness in children aged between 4yrs to 10yr.

Around 4 years ago Knockturn Alley were playing their first shows in the local metal scene and trying to find a way to get more known within the Maltese metal scene. In the past 4 years the band has gone through several line-up changes leaving the current line-up with only 2 original members. However, this has never stopped the band from focusing on their goals and the past 3 years has seen the band releasing a 3-track EP, continuous gigging and even 2 headlining dates in Greece.
The time was right for Knockturn Alley to get their music on disc again, and the band returns with Medusa, the debut full length album. Named after the female monster in Greek mythology, Medusa is a collection of 10 tracks of solid aggressive riffing and catchy melodies.
Coming from Athens as Knockturn Alley's special guests, Greek thrashers The Source will kick off the night. Fresh from releasing their self-titled album on I for an I Media, The Source will perform tracks from their new album which will also be on sale on the night.
