    Making new friends and keeping old ones, having fun, always learning, spiritual and metaphysical subjects, organic gardening, renewable energy, travel, and more... ..

  • Music

    Live music, at clubs, outdoors... small and intimate is best. not huge concerts.

  • Movies

    Action, adventure, romantic comedies, some science fiction, drama, documentaries - I don't like horror or anything gory or too violent. Favorite actor is Johnny Depp, actress Emma Thompson.

  • Television

    Don't watch much TV, but I used to love the X-Files, and I was addicted to the Food Network for a while. I love Pushing Daisies...please watch so it doesn't get cancelled! (Darn, it got cancelled). When I do watch TV it's Eli Stone (WAS Eli Stone), House, Bones, Fringe, Life, and Life On MARS- my FAVORITE, and it keeps getting better.

  • Books

    Lots and lots of metaphysical and spiritual stuff. I don't read much fiction.

  • Heroes

    well, my daughter...so far anyway : ) my dad, and maybe Golda Meir

what the *@#&?! am I doing on myspace? it's easier to keep in touch with my only daughter who lives 2000+ miles away on the opposite coast going to school at the Naval Academy. yeah, I'm a proud parent! i also like to spend time with young people who love life and know how to have fun (too many of us "older" folks are busy making money and worrying about the future - don't let that happen to you!) I appreciate beauty, nature, and i like to study spiritual and metaphysical stuff. I'm also a writer, have worked in TV and print and on the internet. I love all kinds of music, but my favorite is live jazz.

    I'm trying to go to Antarctica next winter, not this winter. By the way I just did my first century ride this saturday (yesterday) over 100 miles in 5 and 1/2 hours, it was amazing.

    uhhh I just got done writting a long note to you and it decided to erase it's self...so I'll have to write another one. So anyways...like I already said. I have declared a major I'm an Oceanography major. I love it too. I'm really excited about the internships I can do through the Oceanography dept. I'm going to try and go to Antarctica next winter break. Things are really good out here. I actually got an A on a math test and I have an A in Oceanography! Talk to you soon.

    well theres a music festival and lots of adventures to be had in Canada, as far as the ridiculousness goes, it just is and probably always will be. I'm having peace of mind issues at the moment, it always happens in the fall, something about the change in seasons makes me restless and want to run...you know how I am, well being forced to stay is hard and has been for the past couple of years. I'm sure its good for me though. I doubt it will ever get any easier to stay in one place when I get like this, at least I'm learning how to deal with it. For now I'll silently freak out and contemplate a lot.
