DJ Ilan is one of the most versatile professionals on the electronic music field. One of the most requested DJs from southern Brazil, has been acting on several roles. Beyond spinning, works with production, participates on 2 Live PasBr 909 and Eletrodomésticos, and since beginning of 2005 has been heading the International Academy of Electronic Music of Curitiba project.

Ilan initiated his career in 1999, playing in small events and parts. On the beginning, performed several times at Rave Nigh Club. In 2000, Ilan initiated the project of parties, Big Fish, together with two other friends and artists from the local scene: DJs Rafael Araujo and Rafael Gadotti. The Big Fish project is today a national reference for the electronic music area.
Ilans talent was proved during Curitibas 2nd DJ tournament in 2002, when he was the winner, beating 40 other DJs. Since 2002, Ilan has been frequently in Europe doing specialization courses in musical production in Manchester Midi School, Point Blank and Focus Training.
He also worked together with renown producers, such as Scott Mac, Dj Ant and Graham Massey (who has worked together with artists such as the Spice Girls and Craig David). Ilan also had the opportunity of presenting in events such as the Vinyl Zôo, Underground Resistance and Too Much.
In 2003, he has started a phonographic label called BR909 Records, together with this partner Rafael Araújo. The seal is known globally and has been played by DJs from around the country, as well as by relevant names such as DJ Fergie, that added BR909 Records to its tracklist of BBC Radio 1.
Ilan also is part of the Efeelings agency, since 2001. He develops a techno that goes from minimal to funk with portions of house, but his influences come from Brazilian rock of the 80s to Jamaican reggae.
In 2005, for the third year, he played in London UK, during the party Brazilian Nuts @ Fire Club, and concluded his seventh course of musical production. During this trip, he also wrote new music for his new label Requentado Records (as the name implies in Portuguese, the songs are re-readings of classic ones). During the second half of the year, together with 3 DJs from Curitiba (Sandro Horta, Gadotti e Pacelli) he launched the www.groovechannel.com.br , the 1st online electronic music channel in Brazil and also the Big Fish CD through the URBR recorder. He is planning to start one new label "Eletrodomésticos" in partnership with Rafael Araujo.
