There is not really a concept behind ilian tape.It's a label straight from the heart for your heart and your soul.The release history is not that big either yet.But we keep it slow and just do what we feel too.Yes - call it esotheric - call it spiritual - we are fine with that and not have any problem if u describe it like that.The style is variating all the time - of course its always kind of dancy and also with a huge influence of dub.
All releases have a very deep understatement - we totally dont care about any hype.We just do what we love and try to share that with the people around the globe.We also have a very lo fi sound, what we are looking for of course.It's not about big studio productions - it's about human music and mistakes , and especially this mistakes make the music so interesting.Compare it with a live band - what is more boring then a band who plays 100% perfect and tight? In the same hand u can play a cd and sing playback.Overall we are a very uncommercial label.And this will never change.
