Singing a wide repertoire of music (over 400 songs), ranging in style from country to country rock, pop, 60's and 70's hits, she covers artists from Abba to ZZ Top, Alice Cooper to Roxette, Queen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Status Quo, Jefferson Starship, Simon and Garfunkel, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton and a host of other all time favourites. And she does their hits with style!!! Illana also performs her own original songs, some of which are receiving radio airplay as well, one of her originals doing well on the East Rand Stereo Top 10 charts.

Illana lives in Pretoria and travels the country extensively, sharing her passion for music with thousands of receptive South Africans. With 309 Shows completed in 2004/5, it is no wonder many refer to her as the busiest female artist on the South African music scene. Illana has made a name for herself as a hard working professional. With bookings already into 2007, early bookings are essential!

Illana is a professional in the true sense of the word. Her image, performance and interaction with the audience has won her a place in the hearts of thousands of people across the country. A little lady at 5'2" (1.57m), fans are amazed by her strong clear voice oozing emotion and resonating around numerous venues country wide. With her guitar, she is one of a handful of woman performing on stage with guitar in South Africa. Her energy on stage are something to behold. Even some of the so-called "big-name" musicians compliment her on the energy levels she attains on stage.

Illana has shared stages with Valiant Swart, Anke (2003 Idols Winner), Mel Botes, Blackie Swart, Pieter Koen, Beeskraal, Peter Vincent, Georgia, Ondier, Thys Die Bosveldklong, Zak van Niekerk. Her favourite performance stages are the big Casino stages where she perform her solo-act , holding crowds of hundreds of people spellbound, the music festivals and Agricultural Shows where she meets thousands of South African's, acoss the country.

Illana is tweetalig, met n liefde vir die Afrikaans taal. Sy sing van die ou tradisionele liedjies sowel as die nuwe populêre liedjies van Steve Hofmeyr, Theuns Jordaan, Dozi en Juanita du Plessis. Veral op die landbou skoue vind Illana groot ondersteuning onder die Afrikaans sprekende mense. Hulle is bly om voor hulle n Engels sprekende meisie te sien en hoor wat haar hart uitsing in hul taal. In haar eie woorde "is Afrikaans die soetste taal" en om haar te hoor sing moet n mens haar glo.Die oorspronklike Afrikaanse liedjies wat sy opvoer is baie gewild onder die mense wat haar sien en hoor.
