Wollongong Jazz is a new e-bulletin to keep you informed about jazz and related gigs in the Illawarra. It takes over from the Illawarra Improvised Music Association and is associated with the Jazz Program at Wollongong Conservatorium of Music.

Applications Close: Monday 22 September 2008 Decisions advised: November 2008 Tours can run: 1 January-31 December 2009 Visit www. soundtravellers. com. au for details Sound Travellers provides grants to Australian artists for National touring in the following genres of new music for travel and marketing costs. The program also aims to develop viable touring opportunities for musicians/sound artists performing sound art/electronica, new jazz/improvisation and contemporary classical music through promoting audience access, developing networks and taking on board good ideas that we can facilitate with our resources.
