I'll Be John Brown is a 4-piece Country outfit that began on a couch in the East Village NYC in the winter of 2005. Since then we’ve been working hard to capture the sound and spirit of classic country heroes ranging from Hank Williams and the Carter Family to Waylon Jennings and Roger Miller, while putting it all in a modern, high-energy package. We feel that much of what goes under the moniker of “Country” these days is not true to the roots of the genre. Here's our version. Enjoy.
