Gareth Samuel aka ILLICIT dj/producer/promoter, has been playing in the brisbane underground dj scene for a few years now, and shows no signs slowing down,after running the WAX ASSASSINS partys for a couple of years, now teaming up with URBAN DOOF PRODUCTIONS, it all looks pretty good for this up and coming producer. Now focused on writing tunes designed for the outdoor/underground club scene, ILLICIT has started to write dubstep/breaks as well as a few other random tunes and his production skills are getting better with each tune.
DJ'N drum n bass for ages his focus has now turned to dubstep breaks and psy.
His dj'n has seen him supporting the likes of Noisia,Skool Of Thought,Reso,Innasect,Dopamine,The Upbeats,Phetsta,Futurebound,Spor,Bryan G,Ewun,Phace,Audio,Robyn Chaos,N-type,Antiform live,Menace,Q-bix,Traction aswell as playing a whole range of local dnb/breaks partys in brisbane with the junglettes,rukuz,bass creeps,and rolldeeper crews.
Alongside Vertical Transport and UDP,ILLICIT is just starting his own label MASOCHIST RECORDINGS, focusing soley on underground tunes, be sure to watch out for the launch of this,with some sick producers form around Australia , New Zealand, and the rest of the world, (and trust me,thay have some sick well known producers on board so far!!)
