Illingworth liberal Club, is run on a membership basis.
Currently Men and Women can make full members and pay a
yearly subscription to be a member gaining all the clubs
benefits, and using all the clubs premises. The costs are
as follows, Full memberships costs just £8.00, per start which includes a fob entry key, CIU Affiliation Membership will cost £14.00 per start, and includes a fob entry key.
How do I apply for membership, Just call at front entrance to the club in trading hours, ring the bell, gain entrance, and speak with the steward, who will give you a membership form to fill in, it will then be presented to the secretary who will then process it, with the club committee. you will then be informed of your membership status.
All members are required to abide by the club rule book, and for their protection an extensive CCTV system has been installed inside the club covering all areas, and also outside the club covering front entrance and car park areas. The club operates a Zero Tolerance Policy, and will take action against members not complying with club rules.
Front Entrance to the club is by security fob for members.

Bowling Section..
Illingworth Liberal Club have a very strong bowling section and it has become a very popular sport on our very own bowling green situated at the back of our club, The Bowling Section consists of quite a few teams who play in various league’s.
Monday afternoons, Veteran’s (60yrs plus) play with two teams in the Brighouse League.
Tuesday evenings, we have ( open age ) teams in the Sowerby Bridge League.
Wednesday evenings, we have ( open age ) teams in the Halifax League.
Thursday afternoon’s, Veteran’s (60yrs plus) play with two teams in the Halifax Vets League
Also the club holds competitions five to six times per year. New members are welcome and if you would like to spectate on any of these days please come along.
Our bowlers are a fine bunch of men who enjoy their sport and support their club.

Snooker League..
Illingworth Liberal Club has played in the Halifax snooker leagues for many years.
We have previously had teams in Halifax Acroyden League, Halifax CIU League, but currently our club plays in the Calder Valley Snooker League.
We have entered three teams and at present two teams play in the first division and one team plays in the second division, they play four frames every Monday night in the league either home or away and our players also enter individual knockouts played in clubs throughout calderdale. We have some terrific players and the standard of snooker is very high, our second division team were champions last season and have been promoted to the Calder Valley first division.
We also have inner club snooker knockouts going on all year round, and have our own games committee who organise events. every Wednesday is darts night with the men in the games room all welcome.

The club is served and controlled by a Steward & Stewardess, then a President, Treasurer, Secretary, Trustees and a Committee, The club runs well and has many activities such as family bingo nights every Thursday evening, where we have prize and money bingo, bring the kids along. Also weekend concert nights on Saturdays and Sundays with Entertainers, Bingo, Raffles, Quiz’s, and take your pick etc. Relax in the lounge or watch TV, with a drink from our well stocked bar selling Tetley, Carlsberg, Guinness and Bottled Beers , also various soft drinks and sprits, we have just what you need at prices you can afford. Conditions of Hire
The cost of the room per night is only £25.00 All party’s or functions require a deposit, for example 18th and 21st birthdays require a £100 deposit, and at the end of the night, if everything is ok then a refund of £75.00 is issued. However the following terms and conditions must be followed, and a contract signed by the person booking the room.
1, All invited guests must confine themselves to the concert room only.
2, Any damage to the club premises or breakage’s must be paid for.
3, If a Disco or Karaoke is used then all music must cease 30 mins after last orders.
4, No Underage drinking, ID must be shown for teenagers.
5, No disturbance causing conflict, either inside or outside the club. CCTV in operation.
6, We shall refund £75.00 of the £100 deposit if things are ok, Cost of room is £25.00.
7, A declaration must be signed for agreement of these conditions.
8, Seven days notice is usually required
9, Terms and conditions may change without prior notice.
