Well, according to MTV, BET, and overall commercialism, it means money, ho's, whips, and selling your soul to make a few bucks...
Not to me.
I'm Illusion. A 15 year old kid from Richmond Virginia. Illusion & Reality is my hip-hop project, because Reality left the group. I'm a hardcore hip-hop fan, of anything good old and new. People claim that 1988-1994 was a golden age, and say that we can never bring it back. But I believe that, even if it's never quite to that extent, we can bring hip-hop back. I take the don't whine about it, do something. And even if you can't rap or produce, you can still listen to real hip-hop and support real hip-hop. I've never claimed seriously that I'm the best thing ever, but I do think that I have some talent, and that you should check my music out. My album, coming soon, is a step up lyrically and personally from my older tracks, and is a much more solid effort. It's over beats by Kno, the producer for Cunninlynguists, one of the most talented groups in hip-hop today. Hey, you got nothing to lose. Give it a download and listen, it's free.
