Discography– following release of illusion project’s first albums, the philosophical “Love & Happiness” (Jan 2008) and prophetic 21st century “Nightmare on Wall Street” (Oct 2008)

TWENTY EIGHTY FOUR ALBUM a futuristic vision for planet Earth. Tracks include “2084”, "off the wall", "free", "let it go", "eyes wide shut", "i saw a movie last night (got me thinking of u?)", “bollywood”, “china”, “rage”, “oxytocin”, “don't panic”, “dark explosion”, "addiction", "obsession electro”, “meme to the child”, “dealing with the enemy”, “southern sky”,and “god why?”
“in love” – poisonous lover with an illusion of "in love". Reality, does not desire a lover, only the idea of being in love - Nietzsche and dark side of erotic love.
“let it go” – Albert Camus (1913- 1960) French Philosopher and author of 'The Outsider' famously wrote "there is only one truly serious philosophical problem and that is suicide". His answer "But the point is to live”. He was killed in a pointless car accident not long after his Nobel Prize award for Literature – such is absurdity in life. “Let it go” warns us to watch out, but suggests EVIL in reverse - LIVE. Love life, live life - avoid wasting too much on personal dark elements beyond our control (Seneca).
“cosmos” explores beyond words, boundaries of the mind, boundaries of the cosmos, between Einstein’s spacetime and God does not play dice, Hubble’s expanding Universe, to the edge of Lucretius’ Spear and Davies’ Goldilocks Life in the Universe.
Where does the Universe end – how did it begin?
Why are we here? and What is our destiny?
“imagination” - free a mind from darkness, free a mind from doubt, the world within, can’t live without, Lost in imagination.
Inspired by the philosophy of Bertrand Russell, John Ralston Saul and poetry of Emilie Bronte - imagination as an essential ingredient of the human personal, intellectual and social condition. The track also draws on that other great philosopher and thinker Captain Kirk of the Star Ship Enterprise.
“illusion” – Plato’s ancient story of prisoners tied inside a cave. People from the world outside pass by fires at the cave entrance. Only echoed voices reach the captives, and dim shadows on the cave wall. For the prisoners - What is reality? What is illusion?
Plato’s story is a prophecy for Movies of today - we enter a dark world of cinema and for a time, like shadows on the cave wall & echoed voices, the screen becomes our reality. “The Lie that reveals the truth” Picasso defined Art. What is illusion? What is reality?
“crash” – dedicated to the art and life and 1956 death of Jackson Pollock. USA demanded a cultural art icon to match its military, intelligence, fashion and commercial dominance with the BOMB, Space Race, Soft Drink, Bubble Gum, Baseball Caps and Wiretaps. Dribbling paint on a canvas floor, abstract expressionist Pollock was created as American arts fashion icon. Addiction to cigarettes and alcohol and his death in the crash of his convertible a mile from home is the metaphor of his time. His greatest work "Blue Poles" purchased for $2 million is now owned by Australia currently valued at over $150 million.
"nightmare on wall street" - Zone of greed. Best of times. Worst of times.
A place where pretenders and free riders talk the talk, but can’t walk the walk, are rewarded way beyond their ability - corporate deceit and greed - money dealers, back room stealers, in the Temple meet, Nightmare on Wall Street.
