About me: An old-school goth girl -- goth before they had a name for it. Yes, I really am a librarian. I'm a real live Reference Librarian with a Master's Degree to prove it! I enjoy seeing the look of shock on people's faces when I tell them what I do for a living! I have tattoos, spiky hair, and a bad attitude--I'm doing my best to trash stereotypes about librarians. I won't shoosh you!
My nickname, The Illustrated Librarian, is homage to the Ray Bradbury book, The Illustrated Man, about a person whose tattoos tell their stories in very dangerous ways.
I'm openminded, and I like to meet other people who want to have fun and don't have hangups. I like to go out, but I also enjoy being home sometimes, just curled up with a good book. I have someone to read to me, that's even better! Movies are also a favorite pass-time, either at the theater, or snuggled up at home.
I don't like the sun or the heat, but I live in Palm Springs, and I LOVE Las Vegas. I just stick to indoor activities!
Sorry I haven't been keeping in touch. Things are barely starting to settle after the move. I only now feel like I can use the phrase "same 'ol, same 'ol" when asked about my plans for weekends. Oi. 9_9~
Chris and I are doing fine. Still learning how to live together. Dealing with the usual bumps along the way. I love him anyways. <3 >;)
I'm only nervous about the 1st cause bills gotta get paid. I hate worrying about that shite. I'll be ok on the second when it's all said and done.

What the heck am I doing up at fricken 6:35am!?! I've been up for hours, unable to sleep...what is the matter with me? I want to sleep, but my brain won't shut off and stop thinking of crap..urgh! I'm predicting I'll be cranky today. =(
i was invited by someone... to go and spend the night with him, and not go into work the next day and spend the entire day with him.. which what i have been waiting for ... for like ever and a year.... but i stood strong, and said no!!! =) i held my ground and said that i cannot make things convienent (sp?) for you.... it needs to work for the both of us not just one of us... and i am not doing this sneaking around BS either... =)
