Sounds Like
Sounds we Like are naturally diverse and eclectic. The ILN collective spends a huge amount of time hunting down obscure releases and hidden gems from far and wide. Our network of contacts brings in strange finds from Asia, South America, Scandanavia, Australia, India and beyond.
We may even be persuaded, on occasion, to share our experience and knowledge about particular records (obscure 60s/70s ones, and no not the Beatles or the Stones!) you may have queries about, in a true 'Antiques Roadshow' stylee.
This collective of record-hunting obsessives ceaselessly sift the wheat from the chaff so that you don't have to. Every month they gather to share and compare their newest discoveries and sing the praises of unsung heroes from times past. Expect anything from soul, jazz, and gospel to lounge, folk, psych, weirdrock and beyond, from across the globe. Expect to be enchanted, entertained, and above all, expect the unexpected.
Notepads, anoraks and beards are strictly optional.
The ILN can usually be found in their natural habitat at the 'VG+' forum (www.verygoodplus.co.uk).
