A blend of old school thrash and post thrash groove
Founded in 2002 by Joe Pelliciari and sister Pia Pelliciari, Ill Vision had gone two and a half years without a drummer and bass player, until early 2005 when Chook filled in on bass and in mid '05 Paul Wachla (from Mandurah band the Exorcists) joined as drummer.
Ill Vision spent the rest of '05 practising like mother fuckers until finally on April 1st 2006 Ill Vision performed for the first time, in front of about 20-30 people. After playing nearly 30 shows in 2006 Ill Vision decided to go into the studio and record their debut cd entitled 'Music to hate people to' ,it was released on sep 9 2007.
In early 2007 Ill Vision wanted to step up their game, and as a result Chook and newcomer Rob 'fukovski' (second guitarist who had only joined months before) parted ways with the band leaving them as a 3 piece for the rest of the year.
Now it's 2008, Ill Vision have recruited Michael Buzzo on Guitar and are currently recording
their second full length entitled 'Rise of the Underground' and as a result Ill Vision are in high spirits and are ready to take their brutality straight to the top of the metal heap, shove a flag in it and declare it as their own.
