Hip Hop talent “Illy Rap”, began to express himself artistically at a young age. Growing up with
his brother, sisters and cousins whom all make up" F.A.M. " (Forever A Member) as children
they were all introduced to early Hip Hop. Inspired by the increasingly popular Hip Hop scene and
being raised within the culture, “Illy Rap” started beat boxing. As early as six years old he
amazed audiences with his note-perfect imitations of drum machines, sound effects, and
popular tunes. He performed at his Elementary School for the students and faculty and also
performed in neighborhoods around New York. Later on he was considered to be in contention
with Hip Hop great Doug E. Fresh. From there, he took his skills even further by learning musical
instruments, writing original rap lyrics, and then years later recording and producing.
In late 2005 “Illy Rap” positioned himself as a respected pillar in the local Rap community by
starting his own record label/production company, Illy Rap Recordings. Based in Kingston New
York, Illy Rap Recordings has cataloged musical works by F.A.M., top selling DJ Big Mike, super-
producer Vinny Idol of D-Block, multi-platinum selling Chad Beats of G-Unit and many other
remarkable talents. In only a few years the label has solidified itself as a major force to be
reckoned with in the Record Biz.
Built on the premise of contributions, IllyRap Recordings is dedicated to philanthropy by
allocating donations and portions of purchases made at Illyrap.com to benefit charitable
organizations. Illy Rap says "It was always my dream to be successful, take care of my family,
and become a philanthropist". Currently, on a day to day basis, he works with a research
company that provides services for programs concerned with battered women, homelessness,
family planning, and other human service program needs. Meanwhile, Illy Rap Recordings has
been growing in the production and marketing of pre-recorded music. “Illy Rap”, the once
troubled youth matured into this respectable young entrepreneur. He currently oversees all
operations of Illy Rap Recordings and works with signed and unsigned artists in some of the
most prestigious recording studios in New York. Through his passion for music, he has attained
friends and colleagues in Music and Show Business, while still managing a nice balance
between mingling with A-List celebrities and talented up and comers. Illy Rap continues to make
new music on a day to day basis, also he attends local music showcases and makes special
guest appearances at red carpet events.
IllyRap's music credits include commercials, motion pictures, gaming software, and major
mixtape releases. His music has been published on various top radio stations for Hip Hop &
RnB. He received a web page and bio from New York City's 1 radio station for Hip Hop and R&B:
