lol- thanks for the wishes- it must have worked! This is a long drawn-out contest... it started as taking 4 out of 18 contestants from 6 weeks initially, then those 25 people competed in the quarterfinals (which was last week and last night), they take the top 6 from those two nights so next week there will be 12 of us in the semifinals, and then they take the top 8 for the finals with a $5000 grand prize. I sang "Whatever You Say" by Martina to get in the quarterfinals, then last night sang Wynonna's "No One Else On Earth" and Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" to get in the semis. I get two songs for next week also and I'm pretty sure I can get into the top 8- I may even have a chance to win the whole thing with some luck!!
