The Platonics met on the first day of High-School, in a little town in Northern Queensland. A classic love triangle ensued before they realised they didn't actually like each other, and that was that for a while. A few years later, they ran into each other in a share-cottage in St. Lucia, Brisbane.
Time had served them well: Samwise had grown facial hair and discovered the awesome power of Bass. Remy backpacked the orient, and returned with a guitar he wrestled from a Buddhist monk. And to the surprise of all, Amelia filled out after a long awaited puberty and had one helluva voice to boot.
Together, they busted jams, and turned the acoustic guitars all the way up to five. Tim Foote, aka. Johnny Constantine piano virtuoso soon joined the mix and the Platonics were born.
