Il pargolo was born in Messina (Sicily, Italy) in 1981. When he was 12 his parents gave him his first keyboard as Christmas gift. He learned soon chord theory even if he didn't know anything about music, but tryng to imitate people who playing piano. He's attended music courses at the music school "Progetto Suono" in Messina for the next five years. There he studied piano tecniques, music theory, ensemble music and he joined to the different bans iside the school. He followed some important theachers such as Mariagrazia D'Arrigo, Dino Scuderi, Pippo Mafali, Giovanni Renzo. At the same time he started to play guitar by himself.
In 1999 il pargolo left Messina and went to Catania for the University.
There he met a great friend and a great musician: Giovanni Maira. He is a virtuous and inventive classical and fingerpicking guitar player. Il pargolo played and practiced guitar together with Giovanni (AKA Joao). They played in many parties and together with Yanez recorded a fake album called "Ultimi Rantoli". The name of the group was "Primi Sintomi". Il pargolo and Joao joined also into a guitar duo called "La Manovalanza". Once he took his degree (2005) il pargolo started to moving through the South of Italy.
At present time (since may 2006) he lives in Lecce and he is a PhD student; he plans to build up a cover band and he is working on a solist project.
Since he was able to play il pargolo has written more than 50 incomplete songs. Joao is now working on some new arrangement for some of these songs.
