I am living in the USA, but originally from South Africa. Lived there from birth until about 1998. I love my dog, Pascal. He is very dear to me. I am a born traveler. If I'm not on the road in the USA, I'm off in another country. The purposes of these trips are ministry, but I add fun and sight seeing to them, and have a blast. It is so fulfilling. I love people, but don't always have to have them around. I make sure to keep my life balanced with some 'my time' and time with others. I find it keeps me sane. I have a very active mind, and when it may seem I'm thinking one thing, and talking about it, something else will pop into my head, and come out my mouth. I love to learn - knowledge is power! I don't necessarily mean in-school type learning, but I ALWAYS listen, anywhere I am, in public or at home. My goal is not to be ignorant, and so I may ask many questions so that I will be wiser when I'm faced with a new culture, person, or situation. I haven't arrived, and will never be the one to tell you I have. Life is a journey, and the journey is what you make of it. Allowing God to be the center of my journey has taken me places I never ever thought was possible. Meeting people I never thought I'd meet. I never fathomed it would be so adventurous. Its the best journey, but all at the same time, its a hard journey. Lots of growth! But I will never give it up for the whole world. I'll do it all again including all the sacrifices in my life! No glory to me, only to the one I serve, HIM!!
