I would have to say my grandmother for fighting Lupus for 14 years. She left his world fighting and I will never forget her courage. And to my other grandmother who has lived in the same nursing home for 20+ years because she chose to and for staying strong willed and determined.
Also all those people who live and breath and try day in and day out to save animals. And many times succeeding. Thank you!!!

I am just a normal girl living a normal life. But what is normal right?
I started this page because my friends are tired of hearing about animals, dogs in general. I must admit that I lived in a blind state for the most part in regards to animals, shelters and rescues. After watching countless videos on puppy mills, animal shelters and last chance dogs I decided that although I can't save every animal I can sure try. Even if it's in passing on a message there is a chance that someone might come across that message or picture and open their heart and give that animal a second chance. I know I'm new to this kind of thing, but saving these animals speaks to my heart like I never thought it would.
I would like to thank Kathy/don't dump that dog. com for being an inspiration and also Pamela (Pikes's Mommy) too. I know I have sat at my computer and cried because of animals lost but I still have hope. I hope that humans as a whole will step up and take care of their animals and find it in their hearts to stand up for others.
I am also the owner of a beautiful Pit Bull. I feel that all bull terriers have been downed by the media and humans alike. I feel very strongly in: PUNISH THE DEED AND NOT THE BREED! I think that BSL (breed specific legislation) is not the answer. I hate to see the day that BSL makes it to NC. Should it ever come here, I will be moving.
