Ilya Santana, the super wonderboy from the Canarian Islands strikes back! After contributing his exclusive track "Black Leather Pants After Midnight" for the Permanent Vacation compilation last summer, he is now up with his first full release for pv. The protege of Danny Wang, on whose Balihu imprint he released his debut ep in 2005, has sucked up the essence of disco, which can be heard and felt in every note of his music. The crystal clear sound, the great synth lines and the huge arpeggio cue of "Discotized", has all the ingredients for a space disco anthem and works amazing on the dancefloors around the globe. On the flip we have "holding you", a warm more metro area kinda vibe tune with beautiful string sounds.

Two excellent balaeric disco gems on this nice new Spanish label called Rare Wiri that scheduled all sorts of fresh sounding house and nudisco. Coming from the club scene these guys know whats wheeling and dealing on the spanish dancefloors.. and this resulted in a some promising releases. First one is by Ilya Santana and Rayko both showing off with some nice quality tunes with a summerish Bealaric feeling. Perfect release for summer 2008! 'Instrumental Odessey' is one of Ilya Santana's most complete works so far and take the dancers on a classy disco house trip. Rolling disco bass lines with smooth synths and easy melodies supported by classic disco strings. Very good track. 'White Russian' is the debut of another great Canary Island producer called Rayko.. and another proof of the talent this label will bring in the near future!

To honor its re-release, the song will be accompanied by two outstanding remixes by Ilya Santana and Pete Herbert. Pete Herbert's takes his mix in a different direction with a very nice old school house version complete with piano and grooving bassline.
