Hi Selo. How's the summer going for you so far? Also, you said some time ago you started work, right? How's that going? :)
  • Apr 26 2009 10:25 PM

That's great. Good luck. Hope your job goes well. :) Me, I'm going to take spring/summer classes at university. Psychology and Spanish, so it should be interesting, I hope. Talk to you later.
    :)

Hey, Selo. I haven't talked to you in quite awhile.
    How have you been? :)

That sounds cool. I think it's better when musicians don't swear in rap. I wish more rap artists wrote about culture, war and other important issues. The only musicians who write about politics these days are some pop artists like Madonna and U2 and even then they don't sing as many songs in the way of social messages since John Lennon, the former Beatle. Turkish rap sounds better than the rap I'm used to listening to. There are some rap artists like Salt n Pepa, Will Smith and Marky Mark who don't swear in their music, but a lot of the modern rap I hear in the U.S. has more swearing than actual messages in the lyrics these days. tyyl.

Lyrics sound interesting. When you say the Turkish rap is social and poetry lyrics, do you mean social as in lyrics about society? Sorry if I misunderstood.

How is the beginning of your week going?

    Thanks for the friendship, Selo.
    :)
Your music interests sound interesting. What is Turkish rap? Does the beat sound different from the regular rap that is heard in the U.S.
    and Canada?
