“There are moments on It’s Okay that take you places. A sweaty mid-western emo basement show with The Get Up Kids on “There Are Clear Skies Beyond Tallahassee”, your bed room the first time you head Blink 182’s “Dammit” on the radio (on the bridge of the same song), or the delicate guitar interludes that remind you of the time you got drunk with your college roommate and he introduced you to Explosions in the Sky. All wrapped up in a blanket of scrappy punk rock and massive gang vocals. “ – John-Michael Bond, mammothpress.com 8.5/10
“imadethismistake's It's Okay employs a sound and production that keeps it real and organic… Campol's folk punk holler is softer than Latterman or Against Me!, sometimes whispery and sometimes spoken, but still lush with homegrown statements. Friends lend a hand on gang vocals, employing a campy camaraderie charm.” –Julia Conny, Absolutepunk.net 7.5/10
“…how does an album that seems to discuss nothing but depressing subjects have the unchecked nerve to call itself It's Okay? This is the question that I kept asking myself. However, while doing so I noticed in the repeat listens that there was something comforting about the album, something that does keep it from being over the top depressing and more introspective. Though I don't know if the title is supposed to summarize the album or reassure the listener, you do get the feeling that it really is okay. As for the album, it's a little more than okay, it's pretty good.” –Richard Verducci, punknews.org, 3.5/5.
"...It is when the band is in full swing and boasting some honest, slightly depressing, yet occasionally hopeful lyrics that imadethismistake really shine. You only have to listen to the likes of ‘There are clear skies beyond Tallahassee’ and ‘My Sins’ to appreciate the heights this album can hit at times. ‘It’s Okay’ turns out to be a solid, and sometimes fantastic album from a record label that still knows the meaning of DIY. I strongly urge you to check imadethismistake out as you might just discover a band you will want to hold on to." -Mark Bushnell, punktastic.com, 3.5/5

I'm still waiting. I'll probably end up giving my friend a call once I get his number, or I'll be going to a show there soon, either way I should know fairly soon. I hope it can happen. :)
I'll be in Rhode Island for like a week, I think August 8th-15th. Family vacation. We used to go when I was younger but we haven't done it in at least ten years. My parents wanted to go before I move away in Dec.
