I'm Valerie. I like to question, explore, and discover. Right now I am discovering life as a second-year community college student in a tiny coastal town called Crescent City California. It is hard to find new stuff to discover here, other than coffee shops. It was a lot easier to keep entertained in Fairfield, where I lived for about forever (1993 to 2004). School is still going to be chaotic this year, but the patterns are starting to unfold a little bit at a time.
Anyways, some other key things to know about me:
~I'm very quiet in real life. People see me as very shy.~
~I can be pretty naive and childlike, but mature in ways that matter.~
~If I don't write back to messages and comments right away, it is probably my quietness/shyness leaking over into the virtual world. But I will write back as soon as I can.~
~I have a tendency to interpret things literally and not recognize subtlety. If you say things of this nature, you shouldn't be too surprised if I misunderstand.~
~I am an extremely late bloomer socio-emotionally.~
~I am one of the few 19 year olds left in the world who has never had a boyfriend before, but I am honestly fine with that. I don't think that I am at the stage of my life yet to be finding romance.~
