I am a general interest bookstore. I am not really a Capricorn because bookstores don't have signs. I live in the historic downtown section of Jersey City, New Jersey -- aka Chilltown because everything here is so hot. I know that may sound oxymoronic to a few people, but it's not. Really.
I have tons of the latest and bestselling books available in every genre you can think of -- graphic novels and manga, science and technology, current affairs and politics, fantasy & sci fi, spirituality, health & wellness, classic and modern lit, photography and art, architecture, mystery, romance, children's, knitting and more! I even have a Bill O'Reilly book hidden behind a Noam Chomsky one (shhh). If I don't have what you're looking for on the shelf when you come in, I can make a call and have it for you within 2-3 business days in most cases. Sometimes I can have it for you the next day. No shipping charge either. Can Glamazon do that? I don't think so.
I have books in English, books in Spanish, and books in French. I also have a split personality as a gift shop. The gifty side of me has a ton of awesome and unique cards, novelty items and gag gifts, fair trade and organic/natural products, and educational and science oriented stuff for adults and kids. I may not be human, but I have a big heart, a big mind, and a big selection for my size.
