Imagine a damp cold cave in the middle of the wilderness, with no sign of civilisation for hundreds of kilometres... Place in that cave five musicians, their instruments and a fruitful bush producing a certain type of berry that to the local tribes is known to give a heightened sense of cosmic awareness. Leave these musicians there for over a year, getting pure highs from this magical berry which enhances creativity. Forget acid or mushrooms this hallucinatory berry is the answer to world peace.
This is where Imaginitis have been hiding, creating a high concentrate of ear moistening sound. They’ve finally been able to trek back from the wilderness and are en route to Revolver Upstairs to share their new material with the unsuspecting punters. Given my calculations are correct, they should arrive in Prahran on Friday the 1st of May ready to start mesmerising the audience sometime after 9:00pm.
That’s when these waves of sound finally start to gently vibrate your swollen ear drum, the momentum will build and build, and your ears will swell with excitement and start to become extremely moist. Eventually when the tension is at its peak, the flood gates will open and the sweet nectar will gush from your ear leaving large puddles all over Revolver's floor.
