Singer/songwriter Alyssa Kogler is a native
Californian who has lived in Vienna, Austria
since 1987. Her passion for music was always
clear, but things got serious when she willingly
traded in her Barbie dolls for piano lessons and
she’s been making music ever since.
Her first attempts at songwriting were at the age
of thirteen, and over the years, her collection of
songs, as well as the number of performances in
front of the bedroom mirror, grew and grew.
During her classical studies for the piano at the
University for Music and Performing Arts in
Vienna, Alyssa began to seriously focus on her
career as a singer/songwriter. It didn’t take long
to put a band together and shortly after she was
chosen by Kronehit Radio to open for the
Swedish pop duo, Roxette. The concert was a
huge success and she soon caught the attention
of EMI Music Austria. Although a contract
wasn’t signed, Alyssa continued to play and
write, and was also featured on two Project pop!
samplers.
Her debut album, Not Gonna Let It (mixed by
David Bronner- Hubert von Goisern, EAV, C-Bra,
etc.) was recorded and released in 2006 and since
then she has enjoyed playing at various venues
including the Donauinselfest in Vienna and Promikon in Germany. Her
current plans include continuing the promotion of
her debut album and keeping her concert schedule
filled!
From bright and catchy pop to honest and
reflective ballads, Alyssa’s songs are primarily
piano-based. Her clear and pleasant voice carries
original lyrics that revolve around themes such
as life, love and faith.

Hey Alyssa! So good to hear from you. We are actually moving to Kosovo at the end of this month.
