James Walker Photographer	Jun 8 2009 5:32 AM I do not and did not have the $$ either. I would suggest "strongly"!! to look into some schools like Art Center and find out what there portfolio req's are. Start sending out folios. If done early enough you will be able to apply for scholarship. If no scholarship can be attained (doubt it) start looking into student loans. I KNOW FOR A FACT that it's possible to get about 6,500 to 7,500 every term from my schools 3 term year. I get them :) unfortunately it only covers a portion of each terms cost. So Personal/Student loans will be needed. Can't really do my school full time and work as well. This is just some info. It's an extremely frustrating I know. But as my Dean says "there is a 100% change you will not get what you want if you don't try" :)
James Walker Photographer	Jun 8 2009 5:11 AM I would start looking into schools dude. Do you have an undergrad? You would have to learn some basics again but the contacts you make with the degree in Photography would be priceless. Your still very young. I go to Art Center College of Design. It's about as good as it gets where photography is concerned. Or you might start looking into joining some photo meets in your local area or enter some contests. It's not easy but you def. have a nack for this stuff and could prob. make a living at it if you learned the trade.
