Founded in 1999 by Nate Dal Cais
Inspired by Celtic music and Storytelling, Dal Cais eventually was interested in the Old religion of Ireland Which many people today refer to as Paganism. Today's Christian beliefs are based on these teachings,as well the seasonal holidays. Imbolg was brought forth in order to rise peoples spirits and remind them that spring would come again during the harsh winters that lead to the deaths of many commoners and nobility alike.
Dal Cais knew this was a great name for a band(even though its not one of the easiest words to say). The Pagan beliefs teach that anything is possible no matter how hard the struggle may seem, and Dal Cais knew this which is why Imbolg became the name of his band. Malacoda is playing bass as well as engineering all of our Recordings.
