About me? Well I am a full time student working on my BA in Psychology and up until a little over a year ago I worked in the Mental Health Field. I worked with youth for a number if years in a assisted living Trade School, then managed and supervised a Residential Assisted Living Program for folks with Developmental Disabilities and severe Mental Illness then went on to do In Home Supports with folks who suffered from serious Mental Health concerns. Prior to that I did a number of things, I managed a bar and Nightclub in Northern Maine, did administrative work, worked in billing a finance, drove truck, was a cook, waitress, bartender, hostess and busted my ass doing farm labor, up in Da‘ County. So you name it I probably did at one point or another. Since then my life took a bit of different road. I have always been the type of person to go where ever life takes me with a belief that some things just happen and you find yourself where you need to be for whatever reason. Well I have found myself in a lot of places, (figuratively); doing allot of things for allot of reasons, all of which I believed in and when I believe in something I pour my heart and soul into it. After all what else do you really have to give? Well after a lifetime of pouring out all that heart and all that soul into fleeting dreams in the search of a little peace of happiness I find myself I seeing a lot of happy people all of which took a little more of what I had to give. I always believed in the “greater good” and that faith, dedication, conviction and above all, LOVE was all you needed to make anything happen, and it does. The only problem with that, for as much of all that I have put my heart into, no one seemed to have enough faith, dedication, conviction or love in me, no matter how much they made me believe they did. So folks I have nothing else left to give. The most important thing in my life is, and has always been, is family, and a sense of family. Family however, is not just based by bloodlines but is based on where the heart is. And my heart is spread over many miles but (((My Kids))), well they have all of me, and have keep me going threw so many times when most would of just given up, as I have them. That right there is my heart and my soul, and if you have been a part of that and did not find it worth it, then that is your loss, because there in nothing more important to me that that and a sense of family. They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and music is the window to the heart. But they also say the road to hell is paved with good intention, but its seems to me that the road to destruction is paved with love.
