Immanis were established in the summer of 2006 and has taken the form of a 4 piece Symphonic Metal band who hails from in and around Edinburgh, Scotland. The unique blend of orchestral sweeps and synthesized tones adds to the heavy and yet melodic atmosphere that the music creates. “..They’re a raw, chugging, semi-symphonic metal band and it certainly hits the spot if you're a fan of Meshuggah and Dimmu Borgir...” (Terrorizer)
“The Carnage Footprint” is the second album from Immanis and will be available for general release on the 1st July 2008. Immanis have recently signed with Believe music and their new album will be available for release on digital download across the globe from all good download sites.
Immanis formed as the current 4 piece line up in 2006 which features Mikey (vocals), Ramage (guitar), Hammy (drums) & Hef (bass). Latin for ‘Monstrous’, they have managed to build quite a CV in their short time together and have gained experience, maturity and respect through their self styled ‘Massivecore’ movement.
Immanis hit the road for the first time in 2006 with new Life Force Records signing, ‘The Psyke Project’ and it proved to be an unforgettable Scottish leg of the tour and from there on in, Immanis have been rising from strength to strength.Immanis will be hitting the road to promote the new album and evolution of their sound, to reach the corners of the music world with their sound. The aim is to build on an already solid platform and to increase the fan base through hard work and determination, brining ‘Massivecore’ to more people who haven’t yet sampled the delights and to encourage their metal ethos; ‘Don’t fear size, embrace it. Size does matter!’
