Immaterial was first established on february 2003 by Guli under the name of "Captive Fright". Guli started it as he's own project but later on he understood that if he wants the band to reach somewhere, he needs other players (duh!). So he started testing players, worked with a lot of people until he finally came up with a full band, and also changed the name to "Immaterial".
Later on, because of personal reasons he devided the band and started the whole deal all over again with new players and new material.
He ran across Evan in early 2005 and Johnas who studied at his school, and Fisher who was Guli's good friend for a few years joined the team to form the final line-up of the band.
And since then, the band works like a machine - Kick Ass.
