CELEBRATING TEN YEARS OF INTERMET MUSIC:
This group of small indie labels has come together under one banner and recently we have found ourselves providing music for movies.
You can check out the individual artists in our friends area, but we have a much bigger library of music available for movie use. Just ask us for what you are looking for. We can even write commissioned work to suit a particular scene in a movie. Keep checking back as we update with different tracks.
We have many artists in different genres and therefore cover many moods. New release in the player is an evocative instrumental track called Street Lights which comes from the re-released charity single No Room At The Inn (see video below) and features Robin Welch on soprano sax. Also a preview mix of 'Chelsea Calling' from Ezekiel Butler's forthcoming album.
Anyone filming a Breton/Celtic romance story might just find this to be the song they look for ..... introducing singer/songwriter, actress Catrin O'Neill performing her song 'La Balle' live at 2 rivers festival.... enjoy.
NEW! Set finale by Catrin O'Neill Band .....
Introducing Val (aka Double Thumb) with a short live performance of Departure which will be on her forthcoming album, Nocturne.
The title track of her album already getting BBC airplay
"With its dreamlike harp arpeggios and wispy, discordant synth lines "Nocturne" takes no prisoners right from the get-go. Although supposedly a demo, the production is fresher and more original than 95% of the mundane nonsense churned out by "professional" studios and labels these days. The orchestration is expert yet sparse, the percussion startling yet understated, the vocal performances beautifully poised... Suffice it to say this is possibly the most assured debut recording I've heard by a UK artist since "The Wizard" by Bat For Lashes." - Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6
Also great 'live' reviews like this one:
"..a very beautiful/chic/absorbing performance"
(SEB Collective, Soho Revue Bar)
NEW! NEW! NEW! Hollow - Double Thumb live in London and with many thanks to Marjorie J Toro for the use of her beautiful artwork known as 'Frozen In Time.' You can find her artwork Here
The song 'No Room At The Inn,' as portrayed here, is a docu-style music video dedicated to the memory of a homeless man who died of hypothermia in a recent cold spell, and to all others who face the same, or other, dangers on our streets every day.
The above track is now available as an internet download single from our Soundclick store
Roger and JP have also written an inspirational track called 'Run,' along with Natalie Hall, which is available as a download at our soundclick store ... see player below.
Also at Soundclick check out in the next player a new song from SEAN SAYE'S NEW album, along with tracks from his debut album Frozen Ground'
In the past few days, yet another singer/songwriter we worked with in the past has passed on to her next life .... This song Cyndy & JP wrote together stands here as a memorial to her wonderful voice and talent. Recorded live at the Baskerville Hall in Clyro, Oct 2005

Good morning to you from Nashville. I would like to share a special song with you and your friends. “Makers Mark”…A new song I wrote about our Maker… a song about life's adversities and how to deal with them. ”If you wonna find a way to fill an empty heart,…When it all goes dark..Look to your Makers Mark” I am leaving this one on my player. Play it loud..Play it proud. Your friend, Dianna, xoxo
Hi darlings :-) thanks so much for the lovely words! I really was not too sure about the quality of this song. some chord changes are a little challenging (in the chorus) and the drums are also unusual. the song drifts a little..and I'd need real strings on it and maybe a little auto-tune for my quavering vocals :-) ha ha..I guess I am being a little hyper-critical but well, I always try to improve myself! love xxx Val
I know..I am so damn late in putting some words here, shame on me! :-) just wanted to say thanks for the friend request and well done for setting up this profile for your soundtracks..they absolutely deserve it :-) looking forward to more collaborations together. love x Val
