About Immigrants

En Santiago a mediados del año 2006 se reencuentran Abismo y R.o.d. ex compañeros de enseñanza basica en Ñuñoa. En ese reencuentro quedaron de acuerdo en juntarse a tocar musica dado que compartian intereses similares (el gusto por el Rock). R.o.d. componia canciones desde los 15 años y tenia experiencia en escenarios cantando en sus antiguas bandas Chowdier e Impuntuales Justificados. Después de algunos carretes y guitarreos viajan a trabajar a Rancagua lugar donde escribieron sus primeros temas como dúo. Luego de separarse por viajes de trabajo durante 7 meses vuelven a encontrase en Stgo. Y es en ese momento q deciden armar una banda de Rock. Luego de mucho tiempo tratando de encontrar el resto de los integrantes R.o.d. y Abismo deciden dejar todo y se van a vivir a Viña con planes de negocios y encontrar el resto de los musicos. En Viña comenzó la búsqueda, pegando carteles, poniendo avisos, preguntándole a la gente en la calle. Frente a la casa q arrendaron vivia Grave (grei'v), quien al poco tiempo se convirtio en el bassman. Luego de las idas y venidas de un guitarrista ritmico (Leo) y el batero (Jano) ,encontramos lo q seria la formacion definitiva de Immigrants Albert "Potro" (Drums) - Grave (Bass guitar) - Ivan "the c-cond" (¿?) - Rod (vocals) - Abismo (Lead guitar) and the album ?? it's coming .. oh yeah .. it's coming !
