Imminent Demise was formed in July 05 from members Alec Schlichtenmeyer and Jared Winteregg of Something To Die For and drummer Eric Biesiada of Shroud. Coming from 2 successful north eastern Indiana bands with a following, they formed a new band and recruited friend Scott Moses on vocals. They recorded the album "Die For The Cause" at Somberroom Studios, which was never released due to lack of funding. After the recording, they recruited fellow friend and musician, Pete Williams(My Unrest) on bass. In early 2009, Jared decided to leave to spend more time on his personal life. Fellow thrasher Drew Wireman(Cuttroat Dreams), was then brought in to fill the vacant spot. A band for 4 and a half years, they played many shows, and met many great bands, friends, and fans.
....Imminent Demise is a band that does not follow trends. That does not compromise their beliefs to adjust to society's standards. They are a band of individuals, playing their own brash sort of extreme, brutal metal. They do not represent religion, nor do they side with politics. They are about standing for being independent with their own opinions and thoughts. A Martyr, so to speak, to stand for the cause of being their own!
