This new style of punk is becoming hugely popular; due to this the fan base is increasing in size rapidly.
The band formed in Watford/London in 2004, founded by vocalist Ian Thorpe and guitarist Andy Beedom due to a shared belief that they could make music with words that people could relate to and believe in, they quickly started writing their own material and playing local venues. They soon became popular locally and gained more fans further afield, playing the likes of Astoria 2 and the Camden Barfly, alongside bands such as Gallows, Sham 69, Spunge and The Vibrators. A tour followed and the release of their debut album, ‘Another World Away’ in 2005, and sold 300 copies within three weeks. Their second album, ‘Speak or they will speak for you’, which was recorded at Sonic State Media Ltd in Hertfordshire is set for imminent release, along with a music video for their first single ‘We’re One Voice’.
This song, along with ‘Brothers in Arms’ are two of the songs available on their Myspace page, both have received over 20,000 plays. 'Brothers In Arms' has recently been picked to be used in the freeware computer game 'Unsigned' and 'Were One Voice' is currently in rotation on Kerrang Radio. In support of this album we will be playing a few local small shows and will announce dates for a UK and European tour shortly which will be opened and closed with a gig in their home town.
Recently they have agreed to begin working with a new upcoming management company; Siren Management. Through which they can be contacted via siren.management@hotmail.co.uk for gigs and promotion opportunities.
So we've been working hard in the studio and have lots of great tracks for the upcoming album. We can't play all of them for you until the record is complete, however we want y'all to get a little taste of the magic that is going down in the studio.
