Back in 2003, Ahmed Khojah, Emad Ashor, Sultan Alghamdi, Rayan Bahabri and Amer Tashkandi, created a thrash metal band called (Crimson Iris) they played for couple of months and did their first and only one song called (Away From Life), after a while they disbanded because some of them got busy with their study and jobs. After that Emad joined a side project with Ali Maarawi as a vocal but not for long because the band was already started to disband. In 2005, Panjiah (a Saudi local band) asked Emad to join the band as a rhythm guitar and vocal after they saw him in a couple of jams, and they showed up in SA metal gig II. Shortly after Emad left the band by the end of 2005 because he wasn’t comfortable with the band's style witch is was heavy metal and he was looking to play thrash metal style. In the beginning of 2006 Emad started thinking about forming his own band and he came up with the idea of Immortal Pain, then he met up with Rasheed Attar which he knows him for about tow years and met a lot in different jams and he was impressed by his playing on Guitar and he asked him if he's interested to play with him in a band as a lead guitar, so Rasheed joined him and they started Immortal Pain, and they figured out a way to mix tow kind of styles together which is mixing thrash metal with melodic death. Then after that Mohammed Alshareef joined the band as Bass guitar player, and Emad mojalled(( Vocalist of Wasted Land )) joined as a temporarily drummer until the band find a permanent one, the band first appearance was in Jeddah metal resurrection gig, and they showed up in SA metal gig III, after the gig Mohammed left the band because he had to work in a different city and Saleh Al-Ziben joined as a bassist, also Abdullah Sabbab((keyboard of Grieving Age)) joined the band as a drummer, then he replaced by Sami Zheiman for one year .and the band showed up at " The Clash of Iron concert in riyadh, then sami replaced by Mohammed Boshnack as a permanent drummer.
