Next Parties
History
Impact started back in June 2002, founded by sister and brother Sarah & Ian Kirby (Dj Imhotep). Sarah and Ian who had been regulars at Hardcore clubs and events like Rezerection, Nosebleed, The Underground, North, Twisted and Resistance for many years were fans of the harder side of the core and watched Scotlands once massive Hardcore scene not die as many would say but go deeper underground. With very few parties left alone ones catering to the harder cheese free sounds to attend Sarah & Ian bit the bullet and Impact was born.
Impact ran every month or so at small pubs and club venues across Fife, Scotland in towns like Lochore and Cowdenbeath before finding a more permenant home at Visions (The palace) in Rosyth where Sarah and Ian had grown up and attended Nosebleed for many years.
Over the years Impact's decks have been graced by some of the biggest names of the underground UK Hardcore Techno scene such as The Dj Producer, Traffik, Simon Underground, Matt Green, Dolphin, Smurf and Sass as well as international DJs from the larger european Gabba scene like Tieum - France, Jappo (Unexist) - Italy, Moleculez - Germany, The Outside Agency - Holland, Kit Williams - Holland and DJ Daisy - France. Apart being lucky to have some of the most established DJs and Live Acts, Impact was also fortunate to host some of Scotland and beyonds finest younger Hardcore and Hard Techno talents such as Fracture 4, Rage, Rob Da Rhythm, Acid69, Rob Noize, The Torturer, Superiour, The Terrorist, Austin, Primal-T, Alarm, Feratu, Corky and of course resident DJ Imhotep among others.
On the 3rd of March 2007, after taking exactly a years break Impact is back in association with Twisted this time in the West of Scotland at underground techno venue "The Soundhaus" - One of Scotlands best kept secrets.
