This is Gilson de Arruda and Judith Xavier, we are manager of IMPERATIVE MUSIC, an agency based in the Brazil and we are doing Band promotion as well as releasing bands on our Compilation CD, volume 1 and volume 2 has been released during 2009, read our blog to details, reviews about compilation.
With two Compilation CDs released until now, we have worked with 37 bands in total, from different countries like South Africa to USA, Europe to Australia, our relationship with the bands is safe, all time.
We started our agency in 2006 but we are working nearly to 10 years inside the Metal scene in other activities. Now, my job is support newcomer bands looking for record-deal, distribution or licensing deal worldwide. IMPERATIVE MUSIC makes a serious work to get productive results!

Imperative Music Compilation CD is distributed in U.S. as well as 100 potential record-labels/press get a sample copy to hear your band on it, this is good opportunity to get signed or simply, spread name of your band through Metal Scene in United States.

Our method to obtain this highest level of presentation are: Write essential information in the band biography, choice good photo shoots and if necessary, give the suggestion to change the Band Logo or even, change the Front-cover, if it don’t fit to the musical style in all. Of course, we can to indicate some artists on this case. Have in mind a bad cover kills the interest because before anyone hears your music, they will see the cover. All details are important to catch the label manager to your release and show that you are a professional band in everything.
b) We have selected the most important Record Labels, Licensors and Distributors from US, Japan and Europe to submit the release of your band.
c) We will only submit promos to companies with the same interest/taste to the musical style of your band. Also, we will be requesting for a special attention from them to check your band so, a feedback is more guaranteed and faster.

4) REPORTS:
a - The band shall get from IMPERATIVE MUSIC reports about answers and agreements of the companies regularly.
5) TIME TO WORK FOR YOU:
a - The IMPERATIVE MUSIC must to work with the Band on an extensive period of 5 months.
b - About our service, it isn’t a monthly fee.
6) AGREEMENT:
a - A contract should to be drafted with all details and terms here mentioned and, printed and signed in 2 copies to be kept with both parties.
