Love in the First Degree - ADAM has fallen in love with Katarina. The trouble is, he's never even met her. Humiliated by his so-called friend CHRIS one too many times, ADAM reacts with tragic consequences. He dreams of a life with Katarina, but with CHRIS on the scene, it can't happen in this life.
This short was a development piece for a feature script 'Ghostman', written by Perry Stevens.

Heroes

King of Kommunication, a 9 minute short comedy, focuses on the relationship of the odd couple of Vince and Peggy, two hopeless romantic Elvis Presley fans who converse in 'The Kings' song titles.
Whilst talking on web-cams to one another they receive an electric shock resulting in their ability to change and understand language at will.
'When I set out to write this film I wanted it to be about language. I wanted characters everyone could identify with, hence the Elvis fans. I wanted to experiment with euphemisms, explore body language and the way the muscles in the face work when speaking new languages and dialects. Most of all I wanted to make a film that was upbeat, universal and fun.
Music (the international language) plays a very important part of the film and three original tracks have been recorded, co-written by Matteo Scumaci and myself (Heartburn Hotel House Band) in a 50s style'. Perry Stevens '06
King of Kommunication premiered at Curzon Soho London UK in August and screened at the Chili Festival in September 06. An interview and film clips were broadcast on AAG TV Pakistan in the same month. January 07 King of Kommunication was screened to enthusiastic audiences at the Mumbai International Film Festival in India.

Rebel International Film Festival is now taking submissions for the 2010 Festival.

Invaded is the a new short film by the portuguese director A.C.Pifaro. This film was produced by Nightshade Productions, a company that aims to produce movies with a social & political content strong enough to create awareness. Invaded fast became very controversial, since his release it has been banned from festivals and censored in screenings. In the end no one stays indifferent. The next 15 minutes represent the last brutal events of someone who has been a victim of human trafficking.
